Hi guys,

Been quite a while since the last update on 22nd August. Here's the updates.

Poly Forum 2003/2004
6 SPAC2O members have been chosen to represent Singapore Polytechnic in the upcoming Poly Forum 2003/2004. They are Dimas, Yan Ling, Siew Ying, Joyce, Siti Saleha and Mei Yuan.

Poly Forum is an event organise by different polytechnic every year. This year, it will be organise by Nanyang Polytechnic. It is an event whereby different polytechnics would send around 60 students to attend this forum. In this forum, students would be put into activities where they would discuss current-affair issues, education system etc. At the end of the entire event, these students would have to put up a presentation for the Guest-of-Honour. This year is quite different from the past few. This time round, it will be held onboard Star Virgo for 3 Days 2 Nights.

Year 1 Training 2003/2004
This year, SPAC2O has recruited 17 freshmen. Most of you would notice the drastic drop in recruitment in this year. This is because when the club gets too big, it has been shown that certain members felt left-out hence by having a smaller group, more opportunities can be given to everyone.

All along SPAC2O Year 1 Training has always been either a 4 full day or 3 full day camps. This time round, I decide to try out something new, something that has never been done before. This time round, Year 1 Training will be a full 3 days 2 nights camp. It will be held on 12th Nov to 14th Nov, in SP.

I would like to check who is able to help as a facilitator for this entire camp. I would require the facilitators to be able to stay overnight through the entire camp. Please let me know of your availability by Thursday ( 30th Oct ). I would strongly encourage members who are not having attachments during the holidays to help out during the camp.

Exams are just next week, meanwhile study hard for your exams and try not to fall sick everyone.
